Soprano Adriana Zabala is establishing herself as one of the most talented young singers in South Florida. A frequent guest artist with many of the area performing arts organizations, she has been featured on various local radio and television networks and is currently traveling with her One Woman Shows aboard luxury cruise ships around the world.
Miss. Zabala is winner of numerous awards for her singing. In 2006 she was awarded Runner Up at the International Model and Talent Association Competition for her singing, where she competed with 3,000 other singers. In 1998 she was selected as a finalist and a prizewinner of the Pathfinder Award for Choral Music. The award is given by the Palm Beach Post to the most outstanding graduating seniors in Palm Beach County. That same year she was awarded an educational scholarship by the Community Foundation of Palm Beach County, and was winner of the Delray Beach Chorale Vocal Competition.
Miss Zabala received a full scholarship from Florida State University, where she completed her Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance. As a student of Professor Yvonne Ciannella, she garnered many awards, including prizes at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Competition. A graduate of Forest Hill High School in West Palm Beach, Adriana’s abilities were first recognized by renowned choral director Harold Bradley who encouraged her to further her musical talents. She soon began her vocal studies with mezzo-soprano Sonia Santiago. Encouraged by her own educational experiences, Adriana now has a select private voice studio as well.
